Unborn Baby Quotes with New Embryology Stats That are Staggering

Aug 26, 2022

“May you always know, little one, that you were wished for, longed for, prayed for, and will be forever loved.”

“A mother’s joy begins when new life is stirring inside… when a tiny heartbeat is heard for the very first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone.”

These are two of my favorite unborn baby quotes but I realize that not every mom to be feels this way. Being pregnant has a way of accentuating every potential problem one could have in certain circumstances.

Not Acknowledging the Unborn Baby is Real … Is Demeaning

One thing that has amazed me for the last 20 years is how some people still believe that the unborn baby is not real, not human, not separate from its mother, doesn’t have a unique personality, and can’t feel pain. This information has been recorded in the prenatal literature, including the prenatal education curriculum for doctors. The science and course taught in all medical curriculums, including chiropractic school and naturopathic schools that explains this is Embryology. It’s a required course to graduate.

The Charlotte Lozier Institute has created a report on the new scientific facts based on embryology about a 15 week old unborn baby and is distributing it now. The facts were compiled by Katrina Furth, Ph.D. neuroscientist at the Institute. You can download the report on pregnancy 15 weeks with stats.

They are pretty amazing – and may allow someone going through rough circumstances in their lives to consider adoption or raising their baby themselves.

Here are some of them but you will want to download the report to read in full:

  1. By 15 weeks gestation, an unborn baby’s heart has already beat 16 million times.
  2. The unborn baby’s heart pumps 26 quarts of blood per day.
  3. 85% of unborn babies prefer moving their right hand over their left hand. Right and left handedness may be determined in the womb.
  4. After a mother eats, the food’s flavors are in the amniotic fluid at full flavor in 45 minutes. The unborn baby tastes them.
  5. The unborn baby’s heart beats starting about 22 days after fertilization.
  6. Between conception and birth, a baby’s heart beats about 54 million times.
  7. Between 10 and 14 weeks gestation, the unborn baby will have neurotransmitters that help him process pain. These include substance P and enkephalins. By 15 weeks, the formation of spinal nerves that transmit the pain to the brain is complete. Other parts of the brain stem are capable of transmitting pain signals that are felt by the unborn baby.
  8. The unborn baby has been practicing breathing for at least three weeks by 15 weeks gestation. It breathes sporadically, not continuously. By 30 weeks gestation, the unborn baby breathes between 30 and 70 breaths/minute.

The unborn baby is real. It’s human. It’s a separate entity from its mother. And the unborn baby’s voice deserves to be heard.

This report will help more women get ready to engage in mommy-baby communication at a whole new level. I sincerely hope The Womb Diaries will be part of the momentum changing society and helping every mom to be in this regard.
